“Life is like photography, you develop from the negatives…”
This is my first tattoo and I love it. I found this image and fell in love with it, I got my tattoo that same day. I’m a photographer and I’ve always wanted a tattoo that represented exactly what I love about a photograph, and this explains it all.
Photographs last forever, and they make memories last forever. I’ve always had a passion for film photography over digital because of how connected you become to your work in the process.
The infinity strip also represents my mother.
Done at Big Joe’s in White Plains, NY.

mydaguerreotypeboyfriend:

Alfred Stieglitz self-portrait, c. 1894, age 30. Stieglitz began an affair with Georgia O’Keefe in 1918. He took nude photos of her in his apartment, where his wife eventually found them, so Stieglitz and O’Keffe moved into a studio of their own.
A friend described them as “two teenagers in love. Several times a day they would run up the stairs to their bedroom, so eager to make love that they would start taking their clothes off as they ran.”
